Tony I came across your blog post while I sat her frustrated with my day of cold calling. I've been trying to get out of doing that for my entire working life but somehow I find myself fall into it again (surely I should have some minons doing the dirty work for me) This time though I would actually like to get it right. The tips you provided sound great and I will use them right away. Especially something as simple as not saying, how are you? That is something that annoys me when at the other end of the phone call. I'll keep you posted on how I'm going. Thank you, 'frustrated cold-caller'
